Our Forestry Plan

We are working with the State of Tennessee Division of Forestry and merging our ideas with their suggested guidelines to keep our land under good sustainable forest practices. We at the farm use more natural regeneration practices and not the clear cutting but the selective cutting which keeps the forest canopy fuller causing the young trees to grow straighter, taller and with less limbs and knots. This does cause a slower growth rate BUT has better timber for our future generations to enjoy.
